what is the usual dose of fluconazole for yeast infection of the body not vaginal ( for ex. intestinal yeast?
infections). I know that up to 200 mg of fluconazole is given for vagianl yeast infections and that it is only a one time dose, but i would like to know what is the dose given for bodily organ yeast. Is it just a one time dose or are there many more?
It depends what you mean by bodily organ yeast infection. I’m a doctor and i’m still not sure what you mean! Nevertheless, the doseage for fluconazole actually depends on where you have the fungal infection, and what is causing you this fungal infection. You really must not depend on answers from people on yahoo answers – you have to discuss this with your own physician, who will know your full medical history and the reasons why you have been prescribed this drug.
I would love to be able to give you a concise reply, but the doseages of fluconazole depend so much on the cause of your fungal infection – see your doctor!!
